Now onto the personal side of In Stitches...

Hello & Welcome! My name is Brooke (Reneer) Schafer, proud owner of In Stitches! Prior to running In Stitches I worked in corporate marketing for a large business out of Evansville after graduating from University of Evansville with Graphic Design & marketing degrees. My dream had always been to own my own business, that not only gave me the freedom to be close to home and raise my family but to also give back to the community/county the shaped me in anyway that I could! In December of 2017, that dream had become a reality!  

My husband, Kyle & I are Princeton natives & both graduates of PCHS. We purchased In Stitches in April of 2018, not long after having or first child, Luke Warner. Not only has God blessed us with Luke Warner, but with a fantastic opportunity to do what I love, and we are forever grateful! In April of 2021, our second child Decker Owen arrived and around that same time I was given the chance to team up with The Graceful Lady Boutique! (Side story, while I was in college, I worked for The Graceful Lady when they ventured out and had a 2nd location in Evansville. My love for boutiques, unique/custom grew while working there!) Anyway after closing their prom store, Graceful Lady Glam, they were brainstorming what they could do that would make their store/location even more unique! They asked if I would want to uproot my store & move to the second level. This opened up a huge opportunity for us both! Their store is already a popular destination for the best clothing, gifts and toys but now with me upstairs, items that they sell can be customized! Talk about one stop shop!
